Anika Berry is a Trinidadian-American soca artist and registered nurse based in the United States. She gained prominence in 2022 with her hit single “Jammin,” which earned her a nomination for Best New Soca Artiste and membership in the Recording Academy. In 2025, she became a finalist in the Ultimate Soca Champion competition with her song “Saddle” on the Tilden Hall Riddim.
Berry’s music blends traditional soca with R&B influences, reflecting her upbringing in a Trinidadian household immersed in calypso and soca music. She began her musical journey in high school choirs and local performances, initially focusing on R&B before transitioning to soca. Her debut single, “Romance,” was released in 2019, followed by “Lash Up” in 2021, which she wrote during the COVID-19 pandemic as a means to cope with the challenges during the pandemic.
 
In addition to her musical achievements, Berry has charted on American, Canadian, and European reggae charts with four top ten placements. She has also received frequent radio play on major stations and was named a Breakthrough Artist by Caribbean Elite Magazine in 2024. Fast forward to 2025, Anika berry is nominated for female Soca artist of the year and the Soca impact award.
